Description
#5. Château Benitey Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, vintage 2019. NEW TO TOB.
30% Cabernet Franc and the balance is Merlot.
Like its label this Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is all about traditional elegance and breeding. The fruit core is certainly strong but its power is in its purity and poise: a towering pillar of finesse, ripe but not over-the-top, intense but balanced by its savoury suit of cleanest, neatest oak. Utterly classical Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, designed to marry with delicious food and the pleasure of its contemplation. Will age very nicely too.
