Moulin de la Roque “Tarente” Bandol Rosé 2025

Appellation: Bandol – France’s most famous rosé region

Producer: Moulin de la Roque

Vintage: 2025

Grape Varieties: Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault

Alcohol: 13.5% ABV

There is a softly textured tenderness to this dry Bandol rosé that immediately sets the tone. Made from Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault, it comes from classic Bandol terroir but expresses itself with delicacy rather than sheer force. The wine is spicy and aromatic, delivering hazy notes of wild strawberry, cranberries, and sage, with enough flesh and substance on the palate to give it genuine presence.  It has substance without feeling heavy, and its spicy character gives another dimension to the freshness. This is rosé with enough personality to reward attention at the table, rather than something destined simply to disappear ice-cold beside the pool (but it can do that too!). The dry finish reinforces its versatility and makes it a natural partner for food.

It is ready to drink now, although it can be enjoyed through 2030. Serve at around 9°C with grilled prawns, bouillabaisse, Provençal vegetable dishes, or a nice quiche. Textured, aromatic and quietly serious, this is Bandol rosé with genuine character.
