Critical Acclaim: 92/100 from Wine Enthusiast

Tasting Note:
A standout Southern Rhône red, the 2023 “Grande Réserve” is a bold yet refined expression of Cairanne’s classic GSM blend. Grenache brings generous raspberry, ripe cherry and cherry liqueur notes, while Syrah contributes black pepper, violet and a dark-fruited core. Mourvèdre adds depth, earthy savouriness and a gentle gamey/meaty complexity that carries through to a long, satisfying finish. Full-bodied and polished, the palate shows seamless tannins, warming richness and impressive balance, with layers of garrigue, liquorice, spice and wild herbs unfolding in the glass. Its 15% ABV supports the wine’s intensity without overwhelming its elegance. Enjoy now with grilled lamb, beef stew, roast mushrooms or aged cheeses, or cellar confidently until 2030. A triumphant Rhône blend combining power, balance and sophistication in every glass.
