A very old school vintage of this Grand Cru classic from Margaux. Fine and lifted perfume, cassis, cigar box, juniper, ginger, fine herbs, mint, and freshly smooshed blackberries, while the palate is incisive, young, and with firm tannins that will benefit from time to soften. Regal claret that needs a cellar-home for a few years to fulfil its exquisite potential.
