This 2023 Ardèche Pinot Noir is a supple and inviting red that showcases the ripeness of a warm vintage, complemented by a light touch of oak. In the glass, it’s a brilliant ruby red with soft garnet highlights.
The nose opens with ripe red cherry, wild strawberry, and raspberry compote, followed by subtle hints of sweet spice, vanilla, and dried rose petals. A gentle kiss of oak adds warmth without overshadowing the fruit.
On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and smooth, with silky tannins and a round, ripe core of plum, red berries, and soft baking spice. There’s a hint of toasted wood and cocoa on the finish, adding depth to its fruit-forward charm.
