This is the next step up on the quality ladder in the Nicolas Millet portfolio and the single-vineyard “Les Grands Champs” – just over 2 hectares of 30-year-old vines – benefits from a warm south-east facing slope that brings the grapes to greater ripeness that in turn adds flavour depth and complexity, lemon tart or lemon butter, ginger crême brulée, cinnamon and earthy spice, while the palate is a touch rounder, more textured and flavoursome, with greater length and polish.
