Moingeon 2022 Sparkling Brut from Burgundy. New vintage.
40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, and 20% Aligoté.
Certified as a “crémant de Bourgogne”, i.e. a sparkling wine from Burgundy, fermented in bottle (like Champagne) and cellar aged for 12 months before release.
The Chardonnay here takes centre stage with aromatic intensity, lemon cheesecake and caramel hints, biscuits, brown sugar, while the palate is dry and tangy. Dangerously drinkable Burgundy bubbles.
