45% Marsanne, 45% Rousanne, 10% Viognier.
This is my favourite white Rhône blend! It probably doesn’t age as well as the more fashionable Grenache Blanc blends do, but when they’re young (like this one) then they pack serious aromatic punch and have almost squishy palate texture (though fully dry) that makes them so satisfying to drink, even if they are ice cold. The hue is golden, the fruit is ripe and extrovert, with notes of creamy anise, marzipan pastry, almond essence, jasmine, apricot, and tropical notes, while the palate is rounded, slippery, dry, textured, flavoursome, and long.
