Tasting Note:

The 2023 Cairanne Blanc captures the sun-drenched vibrancy of Southern Rhône in a fresh, mineral-driven expression. A blend of Grenache Blanc, Clairette, and Bourboulenc, this unoaked white wine bursts with notes of jasmine, caramel, lime marmalade, licorice, white peach, lemon zest, and wild herbs, underscored by a subtle saline edge. The Grenache Blanc brings generous texture and stone fruit character, while Clairette lifts the blend with citrusy brightness and Bourboulenc contributes finesse and a savoury, stony finish.

On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with crisp acidity and a silky lees-derived roundness, offering a poised balance between freshness and depth. Its clean, persistent finish makes it an ideal companion for Mediterranean cuisine—think grilled sea bass with fennel, goat cheese salads, or chicken with a creamy tarragon sauce. While beautifully expressive now, it will reward short-term cellaring over the next 2–3 years, gaining honeyed complexity and subtle nuttiness with time. A pure, elegant Rhône white that speaks to both terroir and tradition.
