I had zero prior knowledge of this domaine when I met owner-winemaker Mathilde Cobbi and so was completely blindsided by her new Côtes-du-Rhône that hit me full-beam with its laser-focused fruit purity.
Wow! Explosive fruit purity of ultra-sweet cherries, essence of black and red currants, and floral perfume, while the palate is expansive, full, but chiselled in its fine construction. Utterly seductive.
