Punchy, pungent, apple tart, smoky oak, lanolin or talcum notes, rich and almost exotic, deep and complex, and then the palate is such a treat: dry but textural, rounded and almost rich if it weren’t for the high voltage tanginess vibrating along in the undercurrent, toasty and tangy, buttery, and flavoursome.
