Description
Château Bonneau, Haut-Médoc 2019.
45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, balance is Merlot. Barrel aged for 12 months.
Smoky spice, oak, restrained fruit, while the palate is tight, fine, and juicy, at the full end of medium body. Good length and balance. Palate shows serious intent with its slaty tannins. Much more savoury feel and Cabernet firmness. Exceptional value-for-money for Haut-Médoc. Château Bonneau is part of the Vignoble des Quatre Vents portfolio, based in Margaux (see wine #2). Pinstriped fruit precision combined with aromatic flair in these 2019s.
