Pessac-Léognan makes Bordeaux’s greatest dry white wines by a country mile and they are some of the best in the world. Full barrel ferment.
Limpid clarity, perfect green-gold, not a skerrick aged colour. Pristine, spectacular aromatic expression, freshness that sings from the glass with operatic intensity, exotic and complex, while the palate is racy, edgy, electric. Combines pointy-toed lightness with chalky tension and palate seriousness, finely balanced at 12.5%. Extremely good cellar potential. Spectacular wine and a bargain. Highly recommended. Imagine Sancerre meets great white Burgundy.
