60% Mourvèdre, 40% Grenache. Grown on flint-covered terraces overlooking the Mediterranean near to Maury. “Amourette” is a herb that grows wild in the vineyards of Maury.
Meaty Mourvèdre, dark and tarry, plum and cherry jam, complex and earthy at first giving way to prismatically defined fruit purity, baked fruit tart, menthol or gum leaf hints, spicy, toasty oak, and much more, while the palate is big and generous, ripe and round, soft and flavour-packed, long. Indulgent and very satisfying crowd-pleaser.
