Tasting Note:
A second wine in name only, Les Griffons de Pichon Baron 2022 is a bold and dynamic expression of Pauillac terroir, crafted with Grand Vin precision and energy. The wine opens with a deep black hue and vibrant purple rim. Aromatically intense, it layers fresh blackcurrant, blackberry compote, and baking spices with a refined hint of oak.

The palate delivers power with polish—unctuous and full-bodied, driven by ripe black fruits, cassis, and hints of clove and sweet tobacco. A seductive creaminess underscores the richness, while fine, ripe tannins bring structure and length. The finish is long, juicy, and brimming with youthful fruit and Pauillac gravitas.

Harvested between September 8th and October 3rd, 2022, and vinified with precision in the château’s state-of-the-art gravity-flow cellar, this is a wine for both early pleasure and long-term cellaring.

Drink Window: 2026 to 2045+
