The Château Les Gravières de la Brandille Bordeaux Supérieur 2022 is a superb example of the outstanding 2022 Bordeaux vintage, combining impressive weight and concentration with classic balance and refinement. Deep ruby in colour, it opens with expressive aromas of ripe cassis, black cherry and plum, layered with cedar, smoky oak, wild herbs, sweet spice and a subtle touch of graphite. The palate is full-bodied and beautifully structured, with Merlot providing generous dark fruit richness, Cabernet Sauvignon adding depth and firm backbone, and Cabernet Franc contributing lifted aromatics and savoury complexity. Fine-grained tannins and well-integrated oak frame the wine, leading to a long, polished finish that promises excellent development in bottle.
