This is Cairanne Blanc with its personality turned up: luscious, textured, aromatically vibrant and distinctly extrovert. Grenache Blanc makes up half the blend to give the wine backbone and zing, joined by equal proportions of Clairette and Bourboulenc for flesh, texture, and aromatic complexity.
The palate is all about texture and generosity. There is real substance here, yet the absence of oak keeps that richness from becoming cumbersome. It feels expressive and full of character rather than simply big, with enough depth to make this far more than a lightweight aperitif. This is a dry white with the presence to sit confidently at the table and the versatility to move well beyond seafood.
It is ready to drink now and should develop comfortably through 2030. Serve at around 12°C with roast chicken, grilled firm-fleshed fish or a creamy vegetable gratin. Luscious, food-friendly and proudly extrovert, this is southern Rhône white with something serious to say.
