Finally — a Côte de Nuits-Villages that delivers both pedigree and genuine value-for-money. “Les Perrières” is one of the finest-sited vineyards in the appellation, blessed with superb southern exposure that ripens Pinot Noir to remarkable intensity while retaining structure and poise.
Dark in the glass and immediately expressive, the nose reveals layers of black cherry, blackberry and cassis, intertwined with earthy pinosity, leather, ripe plum and a subtle toasty nuance from oak ageing. There is depth and seriousness here, yet the fruit remains vibrant and inviting.
The palate is saturated with flavour — juicy, chewy and mouth-coating, yet never heavy. Ripe dark fruit sits at the core, framed by fine-grained tannins and a firm mineral backbone. The wine is tantalisingly poised on the edge between richness and savouriness, offering both generosity and classical restraint. The finish is long, structured and confidently Burgundian.
