“Solutré-Pouilly” denotes wine made from Chardonnay vines grown in the village of the same name, that is close to the vineyards of Pouilly-Fuissé itself and directly facing the area’s most famous geological feature, the spectacular Roche de Solutré, a flat-topped column of rock shaped like a lion, that dominates the scenery for miles around. No-brainer white Burgundy that is utterly unputdownable!
Exuberant Chardonnay fruit, Star Burst and lemon tart, cheesecake and toasted cashews, while the palate is tangy, juicy, dry, and very thirst-quenching.
