Fruit is gently pressed with minimal skin contact to achieve its delicate hue and vibrant aromatic profile. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness, purity and lifted aromatics.
Maturation
Aged on fine lees in stainless steel for several months to build texture and complexity. No oak influence is used, ensuring a bright, pristine expression of fruit.
Tasting Note
A wine of pure vernal ebullience, the 2025 Domaine de la Villaudière Sancerre Rosé bursts from the glass with irresistible freshness and charm. Aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant leap forward, interwoven with hints of rose petal, citrus zest and a whisper of fresh herbs. There is an almost sparkling vitality to the bouquet—an energy that speaks of spring in full flight. The palate is crisp, dry and finely poised, with a lively acidity that carries the juicy red berry fruit across a silky, refreshing frame. Subtle mineral notes add finesse and length, while the finish remains bright, mouth-watering and effortlessly elegant. This is a rosé that captures the joy of the season—vibrant, expressive and immediately appealing, yet with enough structure to reward short-term cellaring.
