Tasting Note:
The 2022 vintage of Domaine Pavelot’s Savigny-Lès-Beaune captures the estate’s hallmark elegance with an extra layer of ripeness and aromatic allure. Aromas of black cherry coulis, almond essence, and vanilla pod are deepened by nuances of tar, star anise, and smoky oak—each swirling into a compelling and layered bouquet.

On the palate, it strikes the sweet spot of drinkability: dry, fresh, and refined, yet plush enough to charm from the first pour. Full at the end of the medium-bodied spectrum, it’s structured by silky but present tannins that lend a quiet backbone without ever dominating the fruit. The finish is graceful, lingering on notes of spice, dark berries, and toasty warmth.

An ideal red Burgundy for both early enjoyment and short- to mid-term cellaring. Drink now through 2032 with duck breast, mushroom risotto, or roast chicken.
