The 2024 vintage of Moulin de La Roque “Les Oliviers” Rosé is an evocative expression of Provence, marrying elegance with sun-drenched vibrancy. A delicately hued rose petal pink in the glass with copper hints, it opens with an inviting bouquet of delicate wild berries and herbs, more savoury than fruit-driven with some earthy herbal complexity from the Mourvèdre, cinnamon and juniper notes and subtle saline minerality from the coastal terroir. On the palate, it is dry, silky, and superbly balanced, with an irresistible finish that invites another sip.
Ideal as an aperitif or alongside grilled Mediterranean fare, seafood, or Provençal vegetable dishes, this rosé is both versatile and characterful. Though crafted for immediate enjoyment, it will hold beautifully through 2026, rewarding those who seek nuance and poise in a summer wine. “Les Oliviers” captures the spirit of the Provençal lifestyle—refined, relaxed, and full of flavour.
